What year are these potential recruits? Are there any are players on the horizon?
Tough to tell. With kids going to juniors for multiple years and coming in as freshmen when they’re 19 or 20 it’s tough to assign specific class years to them.

I haven’t heard anything more. I did however see Kevin Boyle play over the weekend so look for that writeup sometime later in the week.

Vienneau no longer being recruited by SLU. They signed a goalie from Western Canada. Any news on UMass’s efforts to recruit a goalie?
I’ll have a Vienneau update today or tomorrow, essentially he has eliminted UMass from his list, but other than that I haven’t heard anything about goaltenders.
I did read that Vienneau has narrowed his choices to Minnesota and Michigan
I haven’t heard that name pop up before, but that’s not to say UMass wasn’t after him.
What is the availability of Komm from NMH? The kid is having a terrific year just down the road from umass.
He hasn’t committed that I know of. I’m sure the UMass coaches are aware of him since he’s not too far away and I do know they’re looking at his teammate, Nick Gordon. How much interest there is though, I don’t know. I know Komm was ranked prior to last year’s draft by Central Scouting, but ended up undrafted. Without seeing him play his number seem good enough to play high level college hockey though I guessing.

Not sure if UMass was considering Scott Zacharias (Pembroke CJHL) but he just signed with Bowling Green.
