Shemansky Update

I don’t have enough time to do a full blog today (Patriots kickoff in less than an hour) but I did want to let people know that Maine freshman Adam Shemansky who was taken off the Mullins ice on a stretcher Friday night has recovered from his injuries and is doing fine.  In fact, he played last night in Maine’s 5-2 loss to UNH.

Always concerning when a player has to leave the ice on a stretcher. But as I unfortunatly found out this summer, it doesnt take much when mucking around near the boards to get a nice bump on your head. Sounds like it may have been a similar situation here.
